Earth Interior — to scale

A cross-section of the real Earth from PREM (Preliminary Reference Earth Model, Dziewonski & Anderson 1981) — the reference geophysics actually uses. Density and seismic-wave speeds at every depth are computed, not drawn. Hover/drag to probe any depth. This model reconstructs Earth's independently measured mass and spin from its density profile alone (see the check below).
